As a Project Manager, you will support through the full project lifecycle by offering support and advice on project management, planning, and facilitation services to aid with ideation, requirements gathering and business case definition. You will also assist other teams with effectively managing their respective projects by providing support and advice when required.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of projects, within established project management frameworks, methodologies, and policies, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop detailed project management plans, change management plans, communications plans, quality plans, detailed project schedules, and resource schedules, inclusive of budget.
  • Schedule, review, monitor and evaluate project progress and report on such to key stakeholders including project governance bodies, CIO and Executive Management.
  • Ensure project risks and issues are promptly identified and effectively managed and that project stakeholders are informed and engaged in project development and implementation activities.
  • Provide high level expertise and advice to Program and Project Boards, other project stakeholders and relevant client representatives with respect to project matters.
  • Provide ICT and project support services to for IT services through business analysis, scheduling, change management activities and administrative support when required.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet project and ICT governance and quality assurance requirements by performing project profiling and assurance activities across the portfolio

Key skills required

  • Qualifications in Project Management or related disciplines will be highly regarded. Experience in Prince 2, PMBOK or significant relevant industry experience is required
  • Experience in QGEA, ITIL, Agile project delivery, Business analysis, Requirements Definitions, ICT Project management, ICT Services Delivery experience, Test Analyst, Records Management or Web Technologies will be highly regarded
  • Specific experience with OpenText Content Manager implementations or upgrades will be highly regarded
