Initial Contract: 6 months with possible extension

Hybrid working arrangement: 2-3days work from home

Key responsibilities are -

  • Implementation of features in line with team goals.
  • Participate in design and elaboration discussions with the team.
  • Clear understanding of sprint and releases targets
  • Ownership if deploying large releases across multiple environments.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of issues

Technical Duties:

  • Design, code, test, modify and install programs utilising Azure, Cloud computing and web technologies.
  • Provide system support development and support functions across a variety of systems, working with users to understand detailed requirements, especially the more complex system requirements.
  • Provide estimates for development and project work and completing assignments within agreed timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain process, system, and functional documentation.
  • Collaborates effectively managing information and confidentiality requirements across Energy Queensland Limited in accordance with applicable ring-fencing parameters.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in Azure particularly on Azure Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure AD B2C, API Manager
  • Extensive experience in .NET Development, including but not limited to ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework
  • Proficiency with creation and management of Restful APIs
  • Exposure to Web technologies like Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with management of Builds and Release pipelines
  • Demonstrated experience in using GIT based source control systems in a large team setup
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of Systems Analysis, Programming Techniques and Software Quality Assurance
  • Demonstrated experience of interaction across different levels of staff while analysing, designing, and implementing new or revised software applications
