Our client is looking for an experienced Business Technology Partner to join their Strategy and Architecture team. This newly created role will see you responsible for getting to know multiple business and IT departments to discover their requirements and drivers.

You will be required to:

  • Lead the development, implementation and management of the engagement channels between business users, service managers and Information Management & Technology to ensure all communications are captured and initiatives are taken from idea to delivery.

  • Provide thought leadership to the business regarding the use of technology based on emerging technology trends and capabilities that are being used in wider industry to solve similar business issues.

  • Lead the ongoing management of the business technology partnership and support the definition of business initiatives, inclusive of methodology and business processes.

  • Apply superior business engagement and facilitation skills to build the business engagement model, which allows the business to clearly communicate business challenges, manage the establishment and implementation of a comprehensive IM&T service strategy.

  • Manage and maintain effective and collaborative relationships at multiple levels within Information Management & Technology (IM&T) and service providers to work cross functionally and influence IM&T to mirror business objectives.

  • Develop in depth understanding of our clients business strategies, goals and plans and collaborate on translating these strategies and needs into clear outcomes for technology solutions and services.

You will be capable of

  • Leading the development and mentoring of best practice customer engagement, service strategies and methodologies to improve engagement and address priority business objectives.

  • Provide sound advice on opportunities to leverage technical solutions that support innovation and business improvements to solve current and emerging business issues.

  • Identify business issues and apply specialist knowledge to make informed recommendations for significant programs, strategies and methodologies.

  • Leverage specialist knowledge and facilitation skills to build the business engagement model allowing for the business to clearly communicate business challenges in line with the client strategies.

  • Ability to identify, create and manage strong relationships with key business and technical stakeholders.

Being the conduit between Business and IT you will be an experienced negotiator and collaborator.
