Technical Consultant (Network)
- Initial 6 months contract with Mining client
- FIFO experience is advantageous
- 8/6 roster available
About Role:
Our client is an IT consulting and technology services company that is ranked as a global industry leader. This role is an initial 6-month contract working for a key mining client.
Responsibilities include:
- Experience with LAN/WAN/Security/Wireless/Compute & storage
- Designing, staging, testing, and supporting industrial network projects during the build, commissioning, and ongoing operations phase.
- provide Cyber Security analysis and solution for OT networks.
- Deliver high quality technical work to successfully execute changes in technology infrastructure.
Key experience:
- TCP/IP Process Control Systems Networks (Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP protocols),
- Layer 2 and 3 switching and routing,
- Knowledge of firewalls, redundant communications (RSTP, MRP and REP), Network Design, Wireless networking routing & switching, MS (Network Management Systems),CCTV and VoIP
- Knowledge with NettApp and other Storage Solutions
