Systems Analyst

An industry-leading WA client is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with a background in software development to help with a Cobol system upgrade project. This an initial 3-month contract based in the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaise with the development team to translate business requirements
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Review system architecture and work with IT Team to review progress
Key skills:
- Strong commercial experience in a systems analysis OR technical business analysis role
- Ideally previous experience working as a software developer
- An ability to understand coding would be beneficial (doesn't need to be hands on)
- The ability to bridge the gap between business and technical development teams
- Strong documentation ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable skills:
- Any previous experience with Cobol systems is beneficial but not mandatory
