Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Net Developer to join their IT team. The team is responsible for designing, building and supporting the company's flagship applications in a large-scale environment.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of new projects and product enhancements
- Maintain existing business systems, resolving issues and performing software releases when required
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure requirements are achieved
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Integrate data storage solutions Eg, databases
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills and Experience:
- .NET web application development utilising the .NET framework or .NET Core
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript/jQuery and SQL Server
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Skill for writing reusable libraries
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with popular web application frameworks
