Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Engineer to join their Cloud Services team. The team is responsible for delivering and implementing customer solutions as part of the project team.
The role:
- Create documentation for the company's extensive client base - Hosting solution and customer configuration
- Build, change and decommission services as part of a customer order
- Provide frequent updates to the project manager to enable effective communications both internally and to customer
- Perform ad-hoc technical activities as required by Operations
- Contact customer upon order arrival
- Build, change and decommission services, then send to billing and perform net promoter score survey
- Maintain and contribute to knowledgebase articles, work instructions and other relevant documentation
Experience and skills required:
- 4 years' experience in relevant customer-facing technical role
- Degree in IT
- Experienced in Vmware, Cisco (routers and switches) and Linux Redhat - Must
- CCNP, RHCE, CCNA, F5 Administrator, VCP, MCSA, EMC Storage, ITIL, Fortinet NSE, RedHat OpenShift EX280 - Desirable only
