About the role

Our client holds an iconic presence in the banking and finance sector. As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you manage the end to end delivery of changes in the Technology team.

This is a 12-month contract role.

You would be involved in:

  • Manage the scope of the Technology team.
  • Manage the project teams as necessary to deliver the scope of the project, including Business Analysts, Implementation managers and SMEs.
  • Be proactive around identification and resolution of risks, issues, blockers and escalate as appropriate to the Program Manager.
  • Provide input to finalised Business Process maps together with obligations and controls, Work Instructions, Q&A & Quick Reference Guides.
  • Actively support the Change Team with Operational Readiness & transition to business.
  • Support governance, assurance activities & project change control.

To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:

  • Be able to seamlessly integrate into the team and take immediate ownership of project tasks.
  • Ability to prepare deliverables (such as Transitional Service Arrangements) without previous experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of Wealth business & processes would be an advantage.
  • Managing a project in a Separation initiative would be an advantage.
