Large financial client based iat REdfern are looking for a Senior Software engineer with experience in Kafka to Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage
Skills & experience
- Good track record of developing robust Kafka and Java based applications using below mentioned technical stack
- Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Servlet, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, Core Java
- Apache Kafka
- Platforms: Linux, Windows
- Virtualization using Docker
- Cluster Management using Kubernetes
- Application Performance Management using tools such as AppDynamics
- Source Control : GIT or similar
- Config management using Ansible
- Build and deployment using Octopus, TeamCity
- Broad technical industry knowledge in areas such as security, cloud, databases & hosting platforms
- Strong understanding of core business and technical strategies how own role and work relates to those strategies
- Communicates effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Takes ownership of the solution, ensuring that all technical challenges are addressed
- Able to troubleshoot complex technical issues involving multiple system components
- Ability to mentor and upskill other members of the team
