Key Responsibilities
- Stage, build and configuration of Network and security devices
- Plan, build and migrate firewall rules for Operations Centre
- Plan and build the IPS configuration as per the Cybersecurity requirements
- Troubleshoot any connection and data flow issues during firewall migrations
- Work with Business Stake holders to understand the dependencies and risks for migration
- Work with Operational Support team to understand the operational dependencies for migration
- Planning migration activities and providing support during migrations
- Update LLD and As-built documentation, IPAM, CMDB and NMS
- Transition to Support activities
Skills & Experience
- Network Security based experience
- Extensive experience on Cisco FTDs, FMC, IPS, and AMP
- Experience in Cisco equipment (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WLC, Nexus
- etc).
- Understanding of network technologies such OSPF, BGP, RSTP, MPLS, OoS, VRF etc
- Experience and understanding of IP security such as firevralls/AANintrusion protection
- Expert level resolution and root cause analysis of complex network communications incidents
- Provisioning and configuration management of network communications equipment
- Experience in Project Delivery and knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
- Experience in network management tools such as Orion, Cisco Prime, LogRythm, Alcatel SAM, Cisco ACS is desirable.
