Senior Network Engineer
- Initial 6 month contract to support critical infrastructure
- Seeking Cisco ACI, Nexus & minimum CCNP certification
- Work for a highly reputable client in the Perth CBD
Our client is a highly reputable IT company that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for an initial 6-month contract to support critical infrastructure on a client site based in the Perth CBD.
Required skills:
Cisco ACI experience:
- Understand and configure End point group, Application profiles and Bridge domains, Vlan pools, Multicast in Cisco ACI environment
- Extensive knowledge of DCI(Data Centre Interconnects) technologies such as Cisco OTV for layer 2 over layer 3 links
- Experience in troubleshooting Nexus 9K in ACI mode from CLI
Cisco ISE Experience:
- Support and configuration of Cisco Identity Service Engine for network security
- Support and configuration of DOT1X authentication with MAB & Certificates
- Support and configuration of TACACS services for Catalyst & Nexus switches with ISE
- Profiling services for end device support for Cisco ISE
- Troubleshooting skills with Network Access Controls using ISE
F5 Experience:
- Support and configuration of LTM modules for F5 ( Webserver and application load balancing)
- Support and configuration of GTM/DNS modules for F5 (Hosting of Domain external records)
- Support and configuration of APM modules for F5(Application Module)
Check Point Firewalls:
- Strong Security knowledge & Understanding
- Support and configuration of Check Point firewall security policies
- Support and configuration of Application & URL Filtering blades
- Support and configuration of Threat Emulation
- Experience in Security in SCADA environment supporting PLC's (Critical Rail infrastructure support)
Nexus Switching:
- Strong Nexus 9k & 7k skills supporting , Complex MB-BGP, EIGRP
- Strong Layer 2 & 3 experience
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Documentation, ability to liaise with other teams and communicate complex troubleshooting
- Strong Interpersonal skills
Desirable skills:
- Experience with DWDM multiplexing
- Support and configuration of SDWAN(Viptela & DMVPN)
- Support and configuration of Cisco Call Manager Configuration
- Configuration and support of Solarwinds NTM, NTA, Configuration manager, IPAM
