Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise & Infrastructure Services, your primary responsibility is to drive the information development strategy to recommend and implement systems that will keep the business at the cutting edge of their industry. The appointee will have Enterprise Server and Virtualization experience and have been exposed to and are comfortable with a variety of Microsoft technologies and platforms. You will provide 2nd/3rd level technical support in delivery of Information Technology Service throughout the organisation.
This key position has responsibility to maintain, monitor and capacity plan the following technologies:
- Sever Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud services such as Azure
- Office 365
- Active Directory & Exchange
- Server Administration monitoring and maintenance
- Security Platforms (Antivirus, Mail Gateway, Firewall)
- Storage & Backups infrastructure and services
- Citrix Infrastructure
- SQL & Sharepoint
Tertiary qualified, you will drive the direction of the virtualization platform and its ongoing transformation into a high performing service migration to cloud base solutions where applicable. You will be a confident self-starter who has strong technical knowledge and flare for stakeholder management. The ability to cope with dynamic and shifting priorities is essential.
