Our client, a large financial services organisation in Sydney CBD is currently looking for a Senior Commercial Managers for ongoing contract work within their technology area.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead a team and to identify and manage stakeholders and suppliers and to ensure successful commercial and contractual delivery of products and services to the business.
We are looking for candidates who have a mix of skills and who have managed contracts within the financial services and/or IT space. The ideal candidate will have overseen RFI/RFQ processes for a range of technology products and services.
You will be responsible for Leading a team of Commercial Managers involved in Sourcing Development, Relationship Management, Contract and Commercial Management, Sourcing Enablement and Advisory, Ecosystem Management as well as Supplier Management.
You will also have:
- Extensive experience in commercial management including experience in negotiating and managing large contracts
- Extensive experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships internally and with suppliers
- Highly developed skills in negotiation of long term sourcing agreements, demonstrating commercial and business acumen and pragmatism
- Demonstrable ability in developing and implementing sourcing strategy
- Understanding of relevant business and technology products and services
- Tertiary qualifications in business, management and/or legal studies or related discipline, or equivalent experience
