About the role

We are working in partnership with a Fund Management company on an opportunity to work across the major platforms. Our client is looking for a collaborative team player to join their team as an Executive Assistant & Team Support.


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide support the Head of Operations Strategy and the wider Operations Strategy Team in managing administrative aspects of their day-to-day activities, including: scheduling and arranging meetings, email and other information management, coordinating and directing queries and requests for teamwork and ensuring efficient administrative practices and models are utilised by the team members.
  • Create and maintain records (eg, calendars) of upcoming and recurrent team activities, including cyclical programs, projects, initiatives, compliance obligations, and periodic reporting, and maintaining currency of these records.
  • Work with the Head of Operations Strategy and broader team to support the team's various programs and initiatives.
  • Instigate, arrange, and coordinate team meetings and activities as required.
  • Provide follow through on team projects and issues to ensure outcomes and deadlines are achieved.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience at an appropriately senior level in an executive or team assistant role, preferably in a commercial field such legal, banking, investments or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in partnerships with others in a busy office environment, while effectively completing tasks within set timeframes.
  • Advanced knowledge of, and skill in using, Microsoft platform applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Positive
  • Pro-active approach to learning new applications and updating skills to integrate application enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities for process or team improvement and to implement them.
  • Proven capability in managing team initiatives along with identifying and driving successful process improvements.
  • Formal project management or project involvement at a participant level would be well-regarded.
