The Senior Change Manager is responsible for delivering and tracking a program of IT enabled initiatives focused on Organisational culture that meets business requirements while building and maintaining effective working relationships with the IT group's key stakeholders in the divisions.


The role is seen as a trusted advisor to IT delivering on business process improvement and change management activities aimed at developing a dynamic, high performing culture.
The role develops and implements defined communication channels, initiates communications between stakeholders, and facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders to ensure that information and requirements are captured and clearly defined such that change management program meets or exceed business expectations and needs.


The role will also lead and facilitate the business change decision-making processes, and the planning and implementation of change across the business environments

Working knowledge change frameworks and have plenty of experience in their practical application

 Needs to be able to work at the executive level
 High level verbal and written communication skills
 Has experience in communications and internal marketing campaigns (win the hearts and minds)
 Must have the ability and experience to:
 Perform Change Assessments (Change readiness assessments, business impact assessment, Stakeholder assessment etc)
 Development of Change Management strategy and associated plans such as Communications Plan
 Drafting or reviewing communications for a variety of channels
 Working with SMEs to prepare and facilitate workshops
 Stakeholder engagement planning and resistance management

Capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high quality work.
Ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement while maintaining a strong customer service approach.
4. Experience:
 Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation
 Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organisation including executives
 Demonstrated experience in the coordination and running of large organisational change management projects
 Experience in senior stakeholder engagement and working with technical and non-technical staff
 Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, plan, and execute multiple concurrent activities and priorities
 Outstanding analytical, observation and organisational skills
Education: Degree in Human Resources, Organisation Psychology or equivalent.
Qualifications: Completion of PROSCI courses and experience in delivering using the ADKAR framework would be viewed favourably
Extensive demonstrated experience as a Senior Change Manager/Change Manager on complex or IT operating model change projects and in roles requiring
Thorough knowledge of change management processes and experience in the application of contemporary change methodologies. Demonstrated experience in supporting increased organisational maturity in change management practices.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing and oral presentations to Executive and Senior Management, status reporting, change management, team briefings.
At least 7-10 years' experience in organisational change management and experience as a change lead on government projects
