Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their services team. The team is responsible for maintaining the company's telecommunications equipment on their clients sites.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Ensuring description of scope of work is to specification
- Quality audit of contracts - sub contractors, internal and partners
- Perform quality analysis of work conducted
- Ensure handover pack meets scope and quality
- Act on behalf of the customer as well as the company to maintain standards
- Primarily supporting an operations BAU team
- Occasionally help with project-based work Eg, chargeable services / projects
- Travel interstate and within state to assess delivery partners and subcontractors
Skills Required:
- Experienced as a quality engineer from a telecommunications background - understanding of build, upgrade or decommissioning of sites
- Would consider a tech wanting to move up or a civil background
- ISO 9000 standards knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- Background in HOPS quality checks
- Accredited in WHS or relevant certificate
- Field exposure a plus
- Degree or trade cert
- Mainky metro however sone regional work required
- A current driver's licence
