The Project Support Officer will provide Scheduler/Controller/Financial/Data Management functions to support the Project Manager/ Director with major acquisition guidance
The Project support officer duties will inlcude:
- Supporting the Project Manager in the, maintenance and finalisation of financial management and reporting activities by engaging with Chief Finance Officer Group personnel and accessing/ reviewing/reporting against reports
- Liaise with management, contractors (Above and Below the line) and other stakeholders in the preparation of project reports relating to project performance
- Generate high quality project documentation, including reports and presentations, using MS Office Suite
- Analyse, reconcile and manage schedule and finance data to ensure project quality and performance management
- Contract Change Control, gather, track and communicate all the changes to the Project Management team
- Assist in Project Closure activities
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong outcomes-based work focus
Essential Criteria
- Five years' relevant Project Support/Mangement experience
- Well-developed understanding of contemporary PM methodologies coupled with proven understanding of Project Controls, Scheduling, Project financial Management/Reporting and knowledge of Earned Value Management
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and across the customer/contractor boundaries
- Clear understanding of the Defence capability lifecycle
- NV1 Security clearance
