One of our government clients is looking for a Program Test Manager to join their team for a long contract till April 2023. The Program Test Manager is responsible for managing the delivery and acceptance across all aspects of testing. This includes the preparation, development and execution against a comprehensive Program Test Strategy in conjunction with end-to-end planning and delivery through to test execution, including all aspects implementation and go-live testing
Essential Skills
- The Test Manager will be responsible for all end to end testing including system, unit and security testing.
- Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by the system owners,
- Monitoring and ensuring resolution of outstanding defects
- Identify defects / bugs across the program before they are released into the marketplace.
- Extensive experience as a Test Manager across the full testing lifecycle (end to end) with a minimum 5 years' experience in complex, large organisations with multifaceted systems;
- Multi-vendor management experience - mandatory;
- Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to quickly earn the trust of team members and key stakeholders (internally and externally); set direction and approach; resolve conflict;
