Network Communications Engineer - WAN/LAN
Essential skills:
- Must have LAN/WAN experience
- Can consider candidates with network fibre layout and logic designing experience, OR hands on implementation.
- CCNP certified strongly preferred.
- There is some occasional site travel to the Pilbara. The role is based primarily in Perth CBD but as the project ramps up there will be increased travel (once a couple of months or so) to site.
About the project:
This role is supporting a new project for our client. It is a major project on a high-profile new site, with several years of work ahead in this project team to support through the various phases.
Define the role and responsibilities:
A suitably qualified senior IT or communications engineer with requirement to guide a telco provider works being undertaken to bring fixed, underground WAN services to the remote site.
Able to ensure technical Q/A is assessed and accepted on completion activities by the telco provider.
Describe the qualifications and skills required to perform the work:
Telecommunications technical understanding, LAN/WAN, outside structures, ability to pass quality assurance lenses over work being conducted by telco provider installing services in remote areas of WA.
