Mid-Level .Net Developer

My client is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Full Stack .Net Developer to join their tight knit team to work with the latest technologies and strategies.

Fuelled by client and market demand, they are going through an exciting period of growth and expansion into global markets. As such, they are seeking a dynamic .Net Developer to work across their portfolio of projects in an Agile environment.

Skills and experience:

  • Object oriented programming (.Net/C#) up to Standard 2,
  • SQL language (MSSQL), SQL Server 2014
  • Web technologies (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Knockout JS, TFS)
  • Web service programming methods (RESTful Web services and Service Oriented Architecture)
  • Unit testing tools
  • Bug/work control, source control, and deployment technologies (Git, Grunt, Bamboo/Jenkins)
  • Cloud services (AWS)
  • Agile project management methods (SCRUM, JIRA, Confluence)
  • The desired skills would be: Xamarin/Mobile app development, Azure Platform management, Durandal JS, Identity Server

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participate in the discussions on deliverables, estimates and commitments and develop using latest technologies while following Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Write and/or review functional and technical specifications for the implementation
  • Implement quality responsive front-end and backend web applications and web APIs as a part of the platform, integrate enterprise services across all parts of the business
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Perform testing and code review, deployment in a continuous integration environment (CI)
  • Identification and technical analysis for incident troubleshooting
  • The local IT team is small (team of 5) so having a spread of experience would be desirable
