Work on-site for an industry leading resources company
Our client is looking for a Lead Network Engineer for an initial 6-month contract to work in the Perth CBD. The role will be responsible for the design, build and support of Riverbed and Cisco Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build, configure and deliver network integration solutions
- Troubleshooting complex Level 3-4 network issues and provide day to day support for network requirements
- Work with Presales and/or Design Consultants on high-level design approval
- Develop, maintain and apply expert technical knowledge and skills to network strategy, conduct assessments and provide recommendation reports
- Monitor and perform routine tests on assigned systems, report results and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into refined and detailed specification documents
Skills:
- Must have CCNA, CCNP and CCIE certifications
- Extensive working experience with the design, solution, build and support of Data and Voice related technologies at an enterprise level
- Switches: Nexus 7K, Nexus 5K & 2K, Catalyst 3850, Riverbed - WAN optimizers steel heads, Cisco SDN: ACI, Cisco Routers: ISR, ASR
- Cisco Wireless: Internal & external access points
- Working experience with CallRex and ARC
- Experience in a Team Lead role
