This role requires at least 2 years experience in Project Management. Experience in supply chain/material management required.
This role mandates for an individual with enthusiasm, energy and the ability to adapt and learn. The ability to take full ownership and passion to drive and deliver the project is highly desirable. The applicant shall have good communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment. Ideally the applicant should have a technical background, with an emphasis on IP Routing, Optical Networking and Packet Core technologies. A working knowledge of supply chain/materials management is required
Key Responsibilities included but not limited to;
* Manage the overall delivery of products and services from initiation to closure.
* Ensure Projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the profitability specified in the business case (IPIS).
* Plan and scope to achieve the high standard of quality.
* Support pre-sales and post sales process activities.
* Manage customer hardware forecast, delivery, and performance reporting.
* Manage effective communications both internally and externally - both customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Anticipate and manage risk.
* Apply Project Management, and Contract Management methodologies
* Schedule Customer Projects and apply change management.
* Monitor, control and report KPIs as defined in customer contract.
* Ensure data in all project-related tools and repositories is kept up-to-date and with high quality.
* Proven record of being a contributing subject matter expert of a successful delivery team and/or project Implementation
* Strong knowledge of Project Management Tools and Methodology and Project/ Hardware Delivery
* Excellent oral and written communication / presentation skills
* Execution focused mind set - positive/can do attitude
* Proven ability to work with all levels of an organization and excels working in a team environment - ability to lead and manage teams
* Ability to multitask, manage aggressive timelines and set appropriate priorities in a dynamically changing environment
* High attention to details and ability to own, manage, evolve and organize high data volumes
* Strong skillset in Microsoft office suite.
* Full time position based in the office with potential for overtime when and where required.
* Willingness to travel.
Qualifications
* Project Management experience.
* PMP/PMI certification is desired.
* Supply Chain/Hardware logistics management experience
* Maintenance & Support management experience
* Experience in Delivering IP Routing and Optical Transport Technologies
