The Role
The roles and responsibilities of Senior Developer will include:
- Undertake the development and maintenance of the client's information system under change request, fault rectification, major and minor enhancements and discrete information system product development modules
- Participate in planning phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects
- Actively participate in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications
- Consistently write, translate and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
- Write programming scripts as per specifications to enhance basic functionality and/or performance of applications as necessary
- Undertake preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
Experience Profile
Proven experience in following technologies and practices:
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant information technology discipline such as computer science, information system, a physical science, engineering or equivalent IT industry experience
Mandatory technical experience
- Java FX - 8
- Java 1.8
- Spring Core, Transaction, Testing, Web Services, MVC
- JEE (Servlet, JSP, JSF, Transactions & Security)
- Maven
- Angular Ver 8 or higher
- React Ver 16 or higher
- Hibernate/JPA
- js 8 or higher
- Ajax Technologies (JQuery)
- Webservices (SOAP, REST)
- Apache Solr ver 6 or higher
- HTML5/CSS3
- Mock test technologies i.e. Mockito, JMock, PowerMock, Easy Mock
Desirable Technical experience
- Understanding with Java 11 changes and their purpose over Java 1.8
- Wildfly App Server version 17 or higher
- Concept and knowledge around SAML based single sign-on across multiple web apps
- XML/XSLT
- Hands-on experience in carrying out unit and integration test, UAT, documentation, Automated Testing
