About the client:
Our client is one of the leading IT service providers and is looking for IIB Developer with an experience in development of Global integration platform.

Job Description:

  • Perform all development related activities within with the Global Integration Platform (GIP) development and delivery methodology and standards e.g.:

Unit testing, compliant with platform integration (GIP) Standards

  • Configuration/code version management compliant with standards
  • Perform code development within the GIP environment:
  • Work on a large and complex multi-disciplined technology projects as defined by the GIP portfolio
  • Ability to work with multi-vendor development teams
  • Contributing to the overall delivery schedule supporting the platform integration delivery lead / project managers.
  • Working with Integration Operations team (in operations and infrastructure) to ensure thorough and effective knowledge transition of developments to support resources.
  • Coordination of the migration components within the change and release methodology and ensuring alignment of components in environments to releases development of thorough and effective implementation and cutover plans / activities.
  • Assists development lead in general development and /or code version management and issues surrounding the management of code in a dynamic project environment.
  • Transfer and support other platform integration team members, with external integration.
  • Contributing towards the improvement of process and development methodologies.

Experience Required:

  • Strong, recent, commercial experience with IIB 9 &10 development
  • Extensive systems analysis and software development experience across various domains esp. mining using IIB, MQ, SCAPM
  • Ability to create integration specifications and/or design documents, aligned to the Global Integration Platform (GIP) approaches, architectures and standards, based on schedule set by the delivery lead/ project manager(s)
  • Prior experience in large and complex multi-disciplined technology projects as defined by the GIP portfolio
  • Ability to work with multi-vendor development teams
  • Deep subject matter expertise of Integration platforms, tools and processes
  • Self-driven individual with the ability to handle large technically complex projects utilising time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Works well under pressure without compromising the quality of work.
  • Strong problem-solving ability: both business and technical level. Able to work collaboratively to resolution with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, open to new ideas and assists in defining direction
  • Effective communicator, with solid interpersonal and analytical decision making
  • Able to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way
  • Ability to interpret data to understand key drivers for results and principal factors leading to the numbers and impact of a metric on other functions
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, and maintains effective performance under stressful and uncertain conditions
  • Understanding of the mining domain and value chain.
