About the role
As the Director of Digital and Channel Sales you will be in a senior leadership role that will develop, grow and lead the customer sales function. You will be passionate and strategic about digital and direct sales, delivering sales programs and conveying the importance of the function across the business

You will bring your extensive experience across direct sales and multi channels, will have a focus on planning and delivering sales targets, with the confidence to lead a high performing and driven team that will deliver an incredible customer experience

Key accountabilities

  • Digital and direct sales management across direct response, multi-channel & digital
  • Sales management, focused on delivering the digital and direct sales targets across acquisition, portfolio and retention programs
  • Develop detailed sales plans, aligned to CPA and revenue hurdles
  • Create business cases for new sales capability development
  • Growing the Digital and Direct Sales function
  • Deliver marketing automation software and solutions
  • Partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Distribution, Call Centres and Product teams
  • Develop and execute customer digital and direct sales programs to deliver on sales targets across acquisition, portfolio and retention programs
  • Managing budgets and reporting of digital and channel sales
  • Provide leadership across the digital, direct and call centre sales

You will need to demonstrate

  • Minimum 15 years' experience, working in large, complex organisations.
  • Must have hands on experience in Digital and Direct & Channel Sales
  • Expertise across digital sales (i.e. Owned, Earned, Paid)
  • Call centre sales (i.e. IVR, phone, webchat)
  • Traditional direct response activities
  • Experience in Analytics
  • Experience with marketing automation software and solutions including Adobe Audience Manager and Campaign Manager
  • Expertise across Owned, Earned, Paid digital strategies
  • Be experienced in the delivery of sales targets demonstrating innovation and growth year over year
  • Demonstrated experience with leading change and developing an efficient team driving digital and direct sales
  • Driving commercial outcomes/strong sales results with strong commercial acumen, P&L ownership and responsibility for leading the team
