Our high-profile Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for an APS6 level Non-ongoing permanent position. Within this role, you will be working alongside an existing DevOps engineer, helping to support and roll out new DevOps tools and practices to technical teams and promote improved ways of working within the Client's workplace.
This is a long-term role until the end of March 2019, requires candidates to be Australian Citizens and is located at our Client's Central Sydney offices.
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:
- Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Experience with the following, or similar tools: Jenkins (for Continuous Integration), Git (for Code Repository Management) and Octopus Deploy (for Automated Deployment)
- Previous experience working in a DevOps environment
- Strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to work in a team environment
