We are looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer one of our premier clients. This role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that goals and objectives of new business development requests are accomplished within prescribed time frames. The incumbent must consistently aim to deliver quality services and/or solutions that meet business requirements and ensure that goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience in relevant software engineering roles
- Experience working with AWS Cloud Services ideally EC2, Amazon EKS, ECR, API Gateway, ACM, ALB, VPC Link, Lambda, Route53, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elastic Search, K8 Dashboard. AWS certification will be highly regarded.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a must
- Experience with Nexus Repository Manager
- Significant knowledge in integration patterns as well as microservice application design.
- Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications using AWS CLI, SDKs and API's
- Experience in different programming and scripting languages. Java/Spring Boot and MuleSoft is a must. JavaScript/Node.js will be highly regarded.
- Experience managing Bamboo/Sonarqube servers & BitBucket to support CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications.
- Understanding of provisioning scripts like AWS SAM or terraform will be highly regarded
- Ability to solve problems and perform detailed fault finding in a complex environment
- Highly collaborative approach and experience of working effectively in agile organisations using scrum
