C/C++ Application Developer
Work for a highly respected resources organization in the heart of Perth CBD. Our client is looking for an experienced C/ C++ Application Developer to join their ambitious and expanding team.
The role will enable you to be involved in the growth and innovation of the organization. You will have the opportunity to develop applications, adapt solutions, implement hardware, and collaborate with both operational and innovation teams to implement solutions in a real-world operational environment.
Responsibilities -
- Develop an embedded application to capture video streams with efficient frame handling for a 24hr period without substantial memory growth
- Adapt solution to multiple use cases: code must be as portable as possible.
- Implement hardware agnostic processing of data where pragmatic
- Collaborate with both Operational and Innovation teams to implement and extend novel solutions in real world operational environment
Skills -
- Experience in C/C++ (both required) development on Linux
- Experience with Interoperability between C and C++ including the build process and linking of external libraries.
- Knowledge of OPENCV or FFMPEG
- Essential experience with embedded applications
- Strong experience developing for cross platform low level applications (not managed code such as java, java script, .Net or python)
- Highly desirable - Darknet\Yolo
- Highly desirable - Jetson
- Desirable - Understanding of Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Image Processing concepts and algorithms.
- Desirable - Experience writing novel computer vision algorithms with an emphasis on real-time performance.
- CI/CD and DevOps tools such as AzureDevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus
- Understanding of agile development team processes
- Good team player and interpersonal skills
