Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled Business Project Manager to work within business environment to lead and manage business initiatives to support their Digital First agenda. The Project Manager will be business focused, a strong communicator, with proven experience in stakeholder management and demonstrated skills and experience managing development and implementation of cross-organisational projects with a particular focus on business - IT translation.
This is a long-term contract opportunity for 12 Months + Possible 12 Month Extension Option, located at our Client's Canberra City location.
As the successful candidate you will Demonstrate:
- Substantial experience delivering business projects with technology change/impacts in a federal government environment.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills and experience.
- Working knowledge of change management principles.
- Project Management certification/s (industry standards).
