About The Role
The role being advertised is for the Data Centre Automation project. The Data Centre Sub Program has been initiated by our client to plan, design and migrate all applications out of the current data centre facility. The program will be delivered in following phases:
- Discovery
- Planning and Design
- Migration and Implementation
- Closure
What you will need to be successful
Our client is looking for services to lead the development of strategies within one or more domains of specialisation. The successful applicant will possess following skill but not limited to;
- Experience designing automation / orchestration architecture at an application layer - Essential
- Coordinate and collaborate architectural designs with other teams within the program - Essential
- Knowledge of PowerShell, .net, Python, Java or similar languages - Highly Desirable
Able to work in a distributed team - Essential - Understanding of enterprise level environments including compliance obligations Essential
- Experience working with VMware, AWS and Azure objects Preferred
- Industry certification in software architecture - Preferred
- Experience with orchestration tools is desirable - Desirable
- Experience with a variety of tools and languages and the ability to be flexible - Desirable
- Ability to balance conflicting requirements and contribute to prioritisation - Essential
