About the role
- Work in the product team and participate in estimating and planning sessions to scope features in line with the product roadmap and feedback channels from clients.
- Assist with the prioritisation of development work including new features, critical functionality, minor enhancements, bug fixes and technical design changes.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, engineers, test teams and clients in the preparation and review of user stories, test plans in an agile environment, utilising the Atlassian product suite of tools. Facilitation of the product / feature acceptance process where needed.
- Provide essential support and clarifications to developers and testers throughout the software development lifecycle, including management of change requests, and corresponding adjustments to feature scope.
- Plan, orchestrate, and deliver activities to predefined timelines.
- Identifying and resolving process inefficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience and results working with designers and developers in an agile environment.
- Worked in multiple (5+) software development projects, which includes recent experience as an agile BA for at least 1 year.
- Demonstrated experience in translating designs and requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, with fastidious attention to detail.
- Strong communicator in both written and verbal mediums - proven ability to comfortably communicate technical and business concepts to a range of audiences including designers, engineers, sales teams, customers, and subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and a reputation for 'getting things done' in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and software engineering concepts.
