About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a project team and assist with integration development and improvement using established methods and tools.
This role will see you contribute to all stages of the software development process, including, design, code, review, test, correct and document complex system components from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
Skills and experience
Demonstrated, skills in the following technologies:
- Java 8+
- Spring Cloud Native / Spring Boot
- Rabbit MQ
- Database development with Oracle and ORM frameworks
- Continuous Integration using GIT, Team City & Maven
- Strong knowledge in all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of developing within a Secure Software Development Lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience in Cross Functional Agile teams
- Knowledge of developing RESTful Web Services
- Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 or Agile software development methods - Scrum or Kanban
