Our client is looking for a Senior Digital/Web Analyst.

This is a long-term contract role for 5 months, initially, with potential extensions up to 2 years and flexible working arrangements (remote with occasional Canberra trips).

As the Senior Digital/Web Analyst, you will:

  • Champion data-driven insights: Track and report on the Digital Atlas of Australia program's benefits realization, providing timely, accurate, and accessible information for evidence-based decision-making.
  • Master the analytics: Configure, use, and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager across multiple platforms, crafting insightful dashboards (e.g., Looker, PowerBI) that meet client needs.
  • Bridge the gap: Translate business needs into trackable measurements for digital products and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Own your workflow: Manage your tasks efficiently using tools like JIRA, while collaborating seamlessly within a diverse team environment.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience: Configuring, using, and maintaining GA4 and Google Tag Manager for multiple products and platforms.
  • Data analysis expertise: Creating web data analysis dashboards to meet client reporting needs using tools like Looker or PowerBI.
  • Business acumen: Eliciting and understanding business needs, converting them into trackable measurements, and communicating insights effectively.
  • Tech-savvy and organized: Ability to self-manage tasks within project management software (e.g., JIRA) while collaborating in a diverse team environment.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Web Analytics Developer skills: Creating and managing tracking tags and collaborating with developers for website/web application integration.
  • GIS knowledge: Experience with GIS technologies like ESRI products (AGOL) and understanding of geospatial concepts.
  • Analytics mastery: Experience with campaigns management, SEO, analytics auditing, measurement plan creation, cross-platform/product tracking, analytics governance, and/or user data privacy.
