Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Project/Delivery Manager.

This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration until 30 June 2024, with 1 X 12 months extension, located at our client's office in ACT, with offsite working arrangements.

As the selected candidate, you will:

* Plan and manage projects in line with Client's Project Management Framework, including Infrastructure or Application projects, with preference for experience in delivering Agile projects.

* Engage and manage a blended team of vendors, Client's staff, and contractors.

* Undertake procurement activities as required, including preparing approaches to market through to contract negotiations.

* Develop project plans and provide detailed status reports on project progress and budget.

* Work cooperatively and collaboratively with Client's Information Technology Branch (ITB) team, as well as other stakeholders within CASA.

* Perform Stakeholder, change, and communication management.

* Undertake other related tasks as requested by the relevant Section Manager.

To be successful in this role you should have:

* Ten or more years of demonstrated experience managing and delivering ICT technical projects across Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application Development domains.

* Experience with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).

* Sound IT technical understanding and the ability to communicate at both business and technology layers.

* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder and change management.

* Demonstrated experience in managing diverse and blended teams.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Effective influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.

* Excellent analytical and execution skills.

* Knowledge of project planning tools, such as Microsoft Project and Project Server, with evidence of practical application.

It is desirable if you have:

* Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).

* Experience working in government or regulatory environments.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
