POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client, through the Human Resources Information Management Solution (HRIMS) Program, is seeking to deliver an ICT solution that optimises payroll services integration with effective Human Capital Management (HCM). This would increase efficiency, improve service delivery and allow them to assume a more strategic approach to managing its human capital.

This position is responsible for the development and delivery of testing activities for the HRIMS Program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and communicate the test strategy for the program.
  • Responsible for the integrity of testing activities and coordination of the execution of these activities.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
  • Coordinate and manage the planning of all test processes, including test plans, timescales, test deliverables and traceability.
  • Develop test documentation for HRIMS, such as test strategies, test plans, test cases/scripts in accordance with the specified requirements.
  • Execute test plans and scripts for comprehensive system, integration, functional and technical testing and conduct any re-testing necessary.
  • Raise defects and issues and log and track faults.
  • Follow-up and co-ordinate the resolution of any outstanding testing issues and faults with vendors, contractors or end users as required.
  • Report on test progress and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the completion of user-acceptance testing with end users.

Compliance Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience in Human Resources Information Management Solution (HRIMS)
  • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent qualification as a minimum.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Test Management role.
  • Previous experience on SAP implementations and/or cloud-based systems is preferred.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the co-ordination and management of testing activities and multiple resources.
  • Thorough understanding of testing practices.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts including the co-ordination of UAT with multiple business teams.
  • Strong experience in the preparation and maintenance of test plans, test cases/scripts, test results and defect reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving test strategy and reporting to project managers and stakeholders, escalating risk appropriately.
