Leading Blue Chip organisation seeks a TECHNICAL WRITER within the IP NETWORKS space..Must be CCNP certified
THE ROLE:
- 70% of the role will be based on amending and writing new policy/procedure documents.
- 30% of the role will consist of performing complex design and activations activities with IP networks and associated infrastructure. Other technical tasks will also involve designing and configuring Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and performing activations for MWAN/MDN.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- Perform complex design and activations activities with IP networks and associated infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge of LAN,WAN technologies and TCP, UDP, and IP is a must
- Cisco & Juniper certified - CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS, CCIE accepted
- Mixed Experience in designing and configuring Cisco/Juniper routers and switches, and performing activations for MWAN/MDN.
- Configure, test, commission, and accept new customer services and Network elements that are complex in nature.
- Extensive hands-on experience with IOS, different series of CISCO router and switches
- Expert knowledge with QOS , Switching and routing knowledge BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP/RSTP/MSTP
- Domain expertise - detailed understanding of Service Provider network architectures (firewalling, VPN/IPSec-VPN/IPVPN/VPLS/MPLS); design patterns; CISCO and Juniper CPE device capabilities
