Our client is a highly regarded and professional software development and implementation business that has developed a unique methodology and approach to customer facing systems.


They are looking for a Software Technical Writer to Create, maintain and manage and publish a library of:

  • End User documentation
  • End User training material
  • FAQs and glossaries
  • Instruction videos
  • Software release notes
  • Technical documentation
  • Product update bulletins
  • Install/upgrade guides
  • Research processes, procedures with relation to our application and translate these into clear and concise end user documentation
  • Identify documentation gaps and develop suitable content
  • Analyse existing documentation and determine the need for the update of documents
  • Review and editing of software requirements and specifications
  • Present project and progress to management

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the following qualifications are essential:

  • University / IT Qualification
  • 3 years' minimum experience in Technical Writing
  • Experience in Collaborative Projects
  • Change Management experience
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Expertise in creation of printed, electronic (PDF) and web based content
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to translate complex technical information and processes for a non-technical audience
