We are currently looking to hire an up-and-coming Tech Lead. You will manage a small team and be involved in on-going projects combined with BAU. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent .Net skills combined with outstanding SQL to help with data migration and integration projects. 30-40% of your time will be coding the other time will be getting the most out of the team and reviewing code/progress etc.
This role is working with a small and stable team, reporting to the Applications Manager who has been with the business 8 years.
Required knowledge and experience:
- Degree in computer science or similar field
- Over 5 years experience in application architecture design and software development
- Knowledge of software architectural styles and design patterns
- Experience in modern software languages (.Net, Java Script)
- Experience in data modelling, database design and Data Migrations (SQL Server, SISS, SSRS)
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience in designing / developing Integrations between disparate enterprise applications (On Premise and Cloud delivery) (SOAP/REST API)
- Experience in leading development staff (Onshore / Offshore)
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Highly detailed and innovative
- Proven problem-solving ability with sound judgement and analytical skills
- Previous experience with recruitment applications (desirable)
