This is for a permanent employment, and is based in either their Canberra or Sydney office. You must be willing to travel to Canberra for client occassionally/as needed.


As the selected candidate, you will be:

  • Take ownership, architect, design and participate in the development of solutions to customer requirements
  • Coordinate system development lifecycle tasks including design, development, integration and formal testing
  • Manage the software development and release environment using IDEMIA's RTDI suite for version control and problem management
  • Provide software support and troubleshooting services to local staff and external customers when any software problem arises
  • Liaise and meet with customers as required to understand their needs, identify and assist with new business development and resolve current problems.

    • Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
    • Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures
    • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
    • Ability to manage time and prioritise work

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree, with technical major, such as engineering or computer science
    • At least 8 years' experience of software development
    • Deep understanding of and ability to design systems with UML
    • Broad experience with a range of development languages including C++
    • Experience with working with IDE's, such as Visual Studio
