Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their DevOps agile delivery team. The team is responsible for developing and enhancing software in for a large ecommerce application.
The candidate:
- Develops microservices / Rest Api's using highly advanced programming skills in node.js, Java and Spring Boot framework
- Develop web user interface or customize existing user interfaces on ecommerce platform using advanced skills in AngularJs, Java & NodeJs
- Strong developer level experience in Amazon Web Services and Pivotal Cloud foundry with specific ability to configure, deploy and manage applications hosted on these cloud platforms. Professional developer certification in AWS and PCF or equivalent demonstrated level of expertise is required
- Able to understand and update CI/CD automation build and deployment scripts to support a continuous integration and deployment
- Uses collaborative code review tools to conduct self/peer review of code
- Applies Twelve Factor principles to build software that has the characteristics of good microservices/Cloud-Native applications
- Performs incremental code builds, refactors code and builds in monitoring so quality code is released
- Splunk, New relic desirable
High desirable:
- Knowledge of network technology or assurance domain
- Certifications in AWS, PCF or similar cloud platform
- Certification in Java
