We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Citrix Engineer with Azure experience. You will be responsible for supporting a new Citrix environment in Azure until it is handed over into BAU support. This role will also play a pivotal role in supporting the Azure migration for Citrix applications by migrating Citrix applications to the new environment. Ideally the candidate will have a combination of SOE / MOE / Managed desktop and Citrix administration experience.
Experience
- Degree in IT or relevant discipline
- Previous experience as a Citrix Engineer
- 3+ years' experience with supporting and administering Citrix XenApp / Xen Desktop 7.x, ideally the current releases
- Experience with supporting and administering Citrix Machine Creation Services, ideally on Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years' experience supporting and administering Citrix Gateway (Netscaler)
- 2+ years' experience administering Citrix Storefront
- Experience with managing a Windows master image, ideally Windows 10 or Server 2019
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Active Directory and Office 365 would be helpful
- Experience in adding new applications to a Citrix / SOE image and publishing via Citrix XenApp
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Experience with creating, administering, and troubleshooting group policies and Citrix policies
- Experience with profile management using Citrix Profile Management, FSlogix, or similar tools
- Experience with App-V
- Previous experience with Azure Monitor will be highly desirable
