Our Client, a leading Federal Agency, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with experience managing multiple projects, focused on the Business-side of requirements gathering. This is an initial 6 month engagement with possibility of extensions and is working form our Client's Canberra CBD location.
Due to the nature of this role, Candidates must be Australian Citizens with an active Baseline clearance to apply.
Within this role, you will help drive the transformation of an important cross-Government process, by providing SME level advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders, at all levels.
You will be responsible for mapping out Departmental needs, particularly in relation to Information Technology, for the Business-side of the project. In addition, you will deliver methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation to determine the business goals, objectives, functions and processes.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects in an ICT space
- The ability to discern between appropriate business analysis methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and be able to communicate across levels as needed
- Ability to guide senior management towards accepting change brought about through process and organisational change.
