Our Client:
We are working with a key IT Professional Services provider to find a IBM Master Data Management Technical Lead to join the CMDM team. They are currently working on a project within the Financial Services industry and have an initial 6 month contract on offer.
In this role in order to be successful, you would have a deep understanding of MDM concepts, hands-on experience in implementing and managing IBM MDM Advanced Edition solution and have a proven track record of leading technical teams in delivering successful MDM projects.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Lead the technical implementation of IBM MDM Advanced Edition solutions, including design, configuration, customization, integration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and other team members to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and develop technical designs aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and technical team members, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
- Perform hands-on development and customization of IBM MDM Advanced Edition components, including configuration of data models, creation of business rules, and development of workflows.
- Oversee data integration efforts, including data cleansing, data migration, and data synchronization between MDM and other enterprise systems.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Significant experience working in CMDM (customer master data management) using IBM InfoSphere.
- Demonstrated experience in technical roles with a focus on MDM and data management.
- Hands-on experience with IBM MDM Advanced Edition, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, data governance principles, and data quality management.
