As the Senior Analyst Programmer, you will contribute in an AGILE environment and work within the AGILE scrum team in the development, design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of our applications and people.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop, program and code technology applications and software solutions to agreed specifications and improve, enhance and correct systems . This includes the identification of potential improvements that can be implemented to enhance systems
- System design which includes producing system and program documentation as well as ongoing maintenance
- Coaching, mentoring and guidance of other team members and continuous skill uplift across the asset
- Provide support to ensure availability of systems for business activities. This may involve monitoring of Applications and Systems within Production to ensure that they are functioning as expected day to day. Early morning support activities as well as Overnight/On Call Support for workflow applications may be required
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Proven experience working in Delivery and Support
- Background in driving continuous improvement initiatives to uplift technology applications and people
- Proven experience in development (including analysis, design, coding, testing & implementation) and support
- Highly developed skills in PL/SQL, Unix scripting
- Desirable - skills in Cobol, C++
- Desirable - skills in Control-M, SVN
- Developed skills and knowledge of one of the major relational database packages such as Oracle, SQL Server
- Relevant Wealth Management / Financial Service Industry experience advantageous
