Our client, an exciting and passionate digital agency is looking for a Front End/React Technical Lead to join the team based just outside of the Sydney CBD.
Working on a major greenfield platform development program, the role will be responsible for leading a team of developers (in a technical capacity rather than people management capacity) as well as being the in house specialist on all things React and Front End development. The platform will be utilised by tertiary education research programs, specifically within the fields of mental health and substance abuse so it is a fantastic opportunity to produce work that will have an extremely positive impact on how these issues are researched and progressed in order to make a difference in society. While this project would be the immediate focus of the successful candidate, it is only one of the many projects this agency are working on.
Being a relatively small team (7 developers), experience working in a tech lead capacity is essential as is the ability to be a hands on developer at all times. The environment utilises cutting edge technology so you will need experience with React, AWS, Team City, Angular and APIs as well as general web development tech such as HTML, CSS and Javascript.
In order to be considered for the positions you must have:
- Substantial commercial experience within a front end development capacity.
- Proven tech lead experience with the ability to influence, motivate and instruct junior developers where necessary
- Strong skills in React, AWS, HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Previous experience and strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM would be ideal
- A collaborative nature with strong communication and people skills.
