Well known Insurance company are looking for a React Developer to work to work in re-writing legacy app into a modernised application
Position Overview:
To deliver digital solutions for the company, to contribute to thought leadership and guidance across application development using modern technologies like micro front end for the Project's Engineering team, to influence/introduce/refine processes and practices with the view to deliver rapid yet reliable solutions, embracing DevOps ways of working.

Responsibilities:
- 50% Analysing, designing, coding the design and providing support for solutions and other applications and being accountable for the same
- 20% The provision of robust design solutions that are of exceptional performance and quality
- 10% The provision of technical leadership by building and sharing in-depth technical and business knowledge
- 10% Ensuring design solutions adhere to Company's governance and standards
- 10% Managing expectations of stakeholders & Coaching and mentoring of staff
Technical Skills Required
- JavaScript - Advance level required, pref. ES6 experience
- React/Redux, Node, HTML5, CSS3, SASS
- Gulp/Grunt/Webpack/NPM
- Micro Front-end (MFE), module federation using webpack 5
- GIT (feature branches & pull requests), JIRA, Confluence
- Rapid prototyping & service stubbing, Leveraging APIs
- Performance testing & optimization
- Solid understanding of responsive web development and device limitations
Preferable
- Testing frameworks - Protractor, Selenium, Nightwatch
- CI/CD exposer/experience, Docker/ Rancher 2, Bamboo, Jenkins
- RESTful web services using JSON
- Node/Java experience
- Experience and Qualifications
Preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related IT discipline
- Experience in helping build team capability, establishing and influencing processes/practices
Essential
- 4-5+ Years Web Development Industry experience
- 2-3 years of ReactJS experience
- Highly developed Analytical and problem-solving Skills, solution orientated
- Ability to adapt to new technical skills and methodologies
- Exposure to Agile practices including lean design & development techniques
- Self-Starter, motivated and passionate team player
