Project Coordinator - Heavy Vehicle Regulation & Legislation

6 months with option to extend to 12 months
***Please note this role requires the applicants to possess a current motor vehicle driver's license. The successful applicant may be required to travel throughout Australia and to work outside normal working hours on occasions****
About the role:
The role will be focussed on transitioning current heavy vehicle regulatory services across to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. It will involve looking at existing processes and systems and identifying requirements/risks/issues in transferring to the regulator. There will also be work associated with current projects on national reform of Heavy vehicle registration.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge inNational Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR), it's Laws, Legislations, and Regulations.
- Strong Business Analysis & Project Management skills in to understand the processes, governance, reporting.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills to present to the nation transition boards
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the successful implementation by identifying, developing, and implementing strategic policies and initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of strategy and policy by undertaking policy analysis
- Ensure sound financial management of the implementation program by planning and forecasting program budget and monitoring expenditures according to planned delivery milestones
- Ensure successful program delivery by establishing, managing, and facilitating the governance framework to monitor implementation progress and manage issues and risks.
