Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of various substation and renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering large power projects as well as excellent stakeholder management and risk management skills.
Working closely with business stakeholders you will be responsible for:
- Defining plans in line with PMBOK principles
- Provide leadership & direction to achieve project objectives
- Control project programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.
- Liaising with the Construction Manager / Supervisor regularly to monitor project progress and manage issues as they arise
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering electrical utility projects.
- Trade or engineering (Electrical or similar) qualification
- High proficiency with IT and relevant software
- Change Management experience
- Excellent Communication Skills
This role will involve a bit of travel to various sites in NSW
