LTE Project Manager
Initial 6 month contract with with a global Telecom client
Seeking experience in Project Management with Telecom Industry.
work on part of a major rail communication refresh project.
The role:
One of our global telecom clients is looking for a Project Manager to join their team with a passion for resolving complex technical issues and ensuring the smooth deployment of LTE networks in challenging environments.
Responsibilities:
- SOW Development: Lead the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) including procurement, scope, and contract formation with stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Leadership: Guide subcontractors in managing access, construction methods, and solutions.
- Team Management: Oversee and lead project teams, promoting positive values and collaboration.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulations, standards, and corporate policies, including Railway Safety Management.
- Trusted Advisor: Provide feasibility assessments for 4G LTE site deployments during the design phase.
- Deployment Oversight: Manage deployment planning, resources, and HSEQ compliance to meet project deliverables.
- Client Interface: Act as the main contact for clients, handling operations, reporting, escalations, and budgets.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with PMO Tools SME to track service delivery and address deviations.
Key Experience:
- Project Management experience in Rail, Government, Defence, Mining, or similar LTE infrastructure projects.
- Construction Knowledge: Expertise in construction methodologies and best practices.
- SOC Compliance: Skilled in aligning complex requirements with project deliverables.
- On-Time Delivery: Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Collaborative Ethics: Strong commitment to ethical and collaborative client interactions.
- HSEQ & WHS: Deep understanding of HSEQ best practices and WHS obligations.
- Team Collaboration: Experience in multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
- Contract Management: Proficient in developing proposals, managing contracts, and sub-contractor agreements.
- Documentation: Capable of managing project documentation, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adhering to Australian Government Standards.
