About the role
The Continuous Improvement Process SME will provide expert resource to enable the effective formulation of project teams to ensure CI projects, scope, outcomes and milestones are met.
- Contribute to the management of the CI Project Program Sydney Trains wide in accordance with the Define Measure Analyse Improve & Control (DMAIC) principles.
- Facilitate acceptance of a CI process driven environment
- Engage with stakeholders to train, lead, direct, mentor and develop employees
- Contribute to the development and improvement of CI associated policies, procedures,
- instructions and training plans within the organisation, including Six Sigma, Lean, A3 Thinking and other quality tools.
Skills & experience
- Tertiary qualifications (Degree) in applied mathematics, engineering or business-related discipline
- Competent in the application of advanced Continuous Improvement and Lean Improvement Tools & Methodologies within a large, complex multidisciplinary operating environment
- Demonstrated experience in improving customer focused value streams / processes
- Demonstrated experience in project and knowledge management and deploying CI Processes
